These stories are indeed interesting and I would love to assist if I had a job for them, but I've never once heard the Day Worker center state that hiring an undocumented worker in this way was LEGAL. I love the idea of helping out, but I'm not about to put myself or my families future at legal/financial risk by hiring one of their undocumented workers
If it IS totally legal to hire an undocumented worker for tasks around my house, please state so. If it is not legal, please quit asking me to help facilitate breaking this law. You could get some unknowing people into real trouble if there are legal issues.

Deeply touched by this article. So glad the book is underway. These voices need to be heard via receptive ears like Val's and Flor's. Best wishes to all.
As to "the unanswered question" 's concerns. Simply consult an attorney and pay for the consultation. IF you want due diligence then seek it from an arm's length source as would any sensible person.
