Really? Issued citations and released to their parents. The same parents who either allow or have no clue that their teenagers are prowling around in the middle of the night.

Dear parents if you love your delinquent children, please chain them to their frigging beds at night. They are not only a danger to others, but to themselves. Things like this tend to escalate and somebody could get hurt.

They were just looking for a late night snack after getting baked.

Kids do wreckless things sometimes. Even the privileged ones in Los Altos! No need for chains.

Citations that will really teach them. Well that might not but making Mommy and Daddy if there is one pay all the cost involved will be a start. The police time the courts time the business time and loss of income. I pretty sure this could be over 100k fast. Maybe somebody will not be going to Stanford after all.
