So he was arrested for "contempt of cop". Glad the police are out there dealing with these hardened criminal jaywalkers....lol.

I would like to know how one can be arrested for resisting a police officer. What was he resisting? Was the officer forcing himself on the jaywalker to cause him to resist? Was the officer imposing his will on the jaywalker causing him to resist? Arrested for resisting WHAT? Maybe the officer didn't like not being obeyed by this jaywalker, maybe the officer let his personal feelings take over. Whatever the case being arrested for resisting should be illegal unless there is a real violation to go with it. That's my personal opinion and I'm entitled to it.
