Gov. Brown responds to Paris attacks

Governor Jerry Brown activated the California State Threat Assessment System in response to the killings Friday in Paris, the governor's office said today.

Activating an alert system makes us safe from suicide bombers and gunmen? Ridiculous. Only the "Jerry Brown high speed rail trains" will make us safer - as those trains will give terrorists something to attack - instead of normal members of the public.

I wonder why Brown doesn't run for President. He's always done a good job as Governor, and where most Governors, like Chris Christie and Jeb Bush talk about the miracle they did for their states, Brown has worked quietly and gotten the job done. Too bad he is not running because he is probably too old to run.

I remember when he bashed Slick Willy in the Democratic Debates back in the 90's and Clinton puffed up and made it all about defending Hillary. Brown's a good man.
