Water district fends off fraud allegations

The Santa Clara Valley Water District has been in deep water in recent months, following allegations of fraudulent charges and conflicts of interest that could have tainted the district's relationship with one of its contractors.

Has LeZotte been not paying attention for the last 15 years?

In addition to wasting money on overpriced employees and programs, the Water District hands out sweetheart-deal contracts - especially when dead-beat politicians on the Board of Directors authorize "urgency" procedures such as skipping competitive bidding. Voters were foolish to give this District more money. The vounty will need some respectable persons to run for Water Board so that Lezotte and her cohorts are gone
