$15 per hour will not pay for the rent increases coming to Mountain View. But if everyone making minimum wage is forced to move to other cities, maybe the VTA will finally get some riders on its buses and light rail. Then again, since VTA buses and light rail do not travel outside of Silicon Valley and do not connect well to work places, maybe the buses and light rail will still remain under-used and a waste of resources.
