Woman robbed at gunpoint

A 65-year-old San Mateo woman was robbed at gunpoint in Mountain View last week after the suspect took her cellphone and keys.

This is horrible! I'm so sorry to read of this happening to this 65 yr old woman. I'm waiting for this to happen near my home at Ortega and Latham. We need to move this RV homeless encampment out of areas zoned commercial/residential. I'm afraid this will happen in the Target parking lot one day...that's when the police said they'd take action - after a crime has been committed.

When is thIs city going to wise up and crack down on the gun stores in this town? We really should not be supplying the bullets that criminals end up using. Very irresponsible!

@MV Guns Strikes Again I'm not an advocate for or against guns. This is America. A better question is WHEN are our police going to come out in force and protect our city against criminals?
