Oh oh! Uneasy about the meaning of these "preliminary magnitude quakes".

I checked the USGS website and confirmed that this earthquake is part of a quake swarm. In the last 7 days there have been over 150 quakes with magnitude greater than 1.0 within the city limits of San Ramon. There were less than 30 other quakes with magnitude greater than 1.0 in the entire rest of the greater bay area during the same period. This swarm has occurred on the Calaveras fault. Seems unique enough to warrant a more in depth article, including a comment from an expert at the USGS. I understand that a magnitude 3.4 quake is not very significant, but to be part of a swarm of over 150 quakes seems to warrant attention. Places like Calistoga constantly have swarms like this, but this swarm in San Ramon seems a little unusual to me.
