Hearing a call for help

On a visit to Jordan earlier this year, Dr. Jane Baxter, owner of the Los Altos auditory clinic Pacific Hearing Center, found a way she could help -- deafness and other hearing ailments are rife throughout the refugee camps, where millions of Iraqis, Syrians and Palestinians struggle to meet basic needs, she said.

I wonder if Dr. Jane is willing to help "children within our own borders" equally as she helps on the outside?
