When it comes to pondering the universe beyond Earth, the number of questions that come to mind might seem, well, astronomical. To get answers, a growing number of science fiction authors are turning to Chris McKay of NASA Ames.

Rather than going all the way to Mars, how about trying to populate the Moon? Like in Space 1999, that was a good show. A little far fetched, but interesting non the less.
