Woman's car attacked by hammer-wielding man

Police arrested a 57-year-old Mountain View man last week after he allegedly approached a woman in her vehicle and began striking the vehicle with a hammer.

I couldn't imagine what would have happened if she stepped foot on his lawn. Glad she's ok, though.

Wait...so after sitting there 30 minutes she had a drink in her hand? Was she sitting in front of his house drinking and yakking on the phone? Of course that doesn't excuse the idiot with the hammer and they need to throw the book at him.

A bad LSD day. Or this story doesn't fully explain what happened. What was an SF lady doing there to begin with? Was it a drug deal?

He threatened a woman, sitting in her car, with a hammer a year ago, but wasn't caught.
