On Wednesday September 16 an elderly lady was hit by a car while in the crosswalk on Grant Road and Bryant Street. This would have been between 4 and 4:30PM. Knowing this lady very well I know that she would not cross against the light, and definitely stay in the crosswalk. Name of lady is Elzene Yancey. I personally live in Sunnyvale, however, take an aquatics class with her at the Y on Grant Road. I (and those in the class) would very much like to have a detail update. What happened to the child who was hit by a car at the Arco on Shoreline Friday evening? I think he or she was riding a bicycle.
