A windfall in hospital safety

It's tough for nurses to predict when a hospital patient is going to try to climb out of bed and risk tumbling to the ground, but some recent tech upgrades at El Camino Hospital are enabling hospital staff to be a little more proactive.

Wow! We should all rest easier now that there's technology to tell hospital staff that someone needs to go to the bathroom. Funny that the buzzers are ignored. What keeps staff from ignoring this wonderful new technology? The problem isn't lack of technology, its lack of personnel.
