Spare the Air alert issued for Bay Area today

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has issued a Spare the Air Alert for today because of a high-pressure system producing clear skies, light winds and high inland temperatures.

Are there restrictions on development worksites during Spare the Air days? The sites along El Camino and San Antonio (Phase II) produce quite a bit of dust.

I say we treat the spare the air days as a holiday where schools and workers could have the day off.

Anyone else like that idea?
