McKelvey Park flood basin on the horizon

McKelvey Park is just months away from a complete makeover. The Santa Clara Valley Water District is slated to begin construction of an 18-foot deep basin across several acres of the park starting in January, transforming the popular baseball park to do double-duty as a diversion pit for Permanente Creek floodwater.

Finally! After 15 years we are getting what we voted for!

Too many NIMBYs raising ridiculous and fabricated issues costing the hardworking homeowner hundreds of thousands of dollars!

Thanks guys for your so called "concerns" (which disappear when it effects or comes to your property)!

Looking at the forecast of the most powerful El Nino on record, wouldn't it be something if the 100 year flood came the year before they finished the 100 year flood basin.
