"Trade-offs include the loss of 24 parking spaces, which will push traffic out to neighboring streets during big baseball games, and the loss of 20 heritage trees, according to city reports."
So, how's this going to work out when the buffered bike lanes on Miramonte are in place and ALL parking along Miramonte is removed 24/7? There's not a lot of "neighboring streets" around that aren't already going to be packed with on street parking because of the massive infill projects nearby -- for example, the 164 unit 4 story apartment complex on ECR & Castro Street that was approved with inadequate parking (grossly inadequate). Overflow parking both retail and residential is going to keep the "neighboring streets" pretty full of cars, constantly.
Cumulative effect. No significant impact. Sure.

So we are expecting this huge "el Nino" this winter (according to local weather forecasts). If we have that 100 year flood this winter that flood basin won't be of much help since construction is not even going to begin on this thing until the middle of our "Rain Season". Nice planning folks.. This construction should have started 2 years ago. Guess Prometheus high rental units ruining our skyline is more important... Maybe all the flooded out folks will have to move into these apartments while homes are under water
