State high court upholds right of cities to require affordable housing in new developments

The California Supreme Court unanimously ruled in San Francisco on Monday that cities have the right to require developers to make a portion of new units available as affordable housing.

Developers claims to "doing good" on their own initiative vav affordable housing is shown to be a hollow ie non-existent practice. They hide their hypocrisy behind "no government interference" stances when in reality their greed shines through. Government's main justification is to do for its citizens what they cannot do for themselves ... most importantly to protect citizens from the predation of other citizens exactly by "interfering". Why is that so difficult for non-predators to understand. It is not difficult for non-predators to understand; it is only difficult for predators to understand. Idiocy is transparent
