I don't mind helping to feed kids who's parents really can't do it due to unexpected job lose or a medical condition, etc, some unexpected event that people couldn't plan for. Unfortunately, through my work in the city I see too many families who are more than happy to take advantage of the system. They bring their kids to eat free lunch, while they and their kids all have the latest cell phones, flashy cars and high-def TV's. Feeding your kids should come first, and if that means you (and they) don't have a smart phone that streams video with unlimited data, that's the way it has to be. I, personally, would be embarrassed to let others support my kids that way unless I had made huge sacrifices myself in the process (ie giving up every luxury item I ever had.)
