Stanford University lab received live anthrax shipment

Stanford University officials assured the public Thursday, May 28, that a vial potentially carrying live anthrax that was shipped to a campus laboratory last year has not threatened the school.

Why don't you assume it's for some shadowy reason. That's what will happen anyway, even if a completely benign and boring reason, like using components or properties of the anthrax virus to battle some other disease, it would simply be blown off as a cover story by the tin hat brigade.

Stanford ia well connected to the military-industrial complex as are many Silicon Valley companies, particularly Google and Palantir. Make no mistake about it.
