Police searching for car theft suspect

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a woman suspected of stealing a credit card and over $950 in cash and other personal belongings from a car parked in the Rengstorff Center early last week.

A better title would be: Police searching for suspect in theft from vehicle.

The term "car theft suspect" tends to be used when reporting on stolen vehicles.

I do appreciate The Voice reporting on such incidents, so MV residents can be informed about crimes of opportunity like this one.

Maybe because stealing from a building would be burglary

I really hope they catch these scummies. How many beater purple p/u trucks are in the area? I also really hope that one day people will learn not to leave their wallets, credit cards and expensive items inside their cars.

People don't seem to learn. Don't leave personal items in your car !!!
