Thanks to Councilmembers Lenny Siegel and John Inks for trying; however, with Councilmembers Kasperzak and Showalter stonewalling and Rosenberg absent without explanation, the motion to further consider or clarify the plurality's position on bus-only lanes was not going to pass.

Still, there is the matter of RECALL and rallying folks all along the El Camino corridor (Palo Alto through Santa Clara) against the plan and ready to campaign against any VTA sales tax measure in 2016 or thereafter.

I would stonewall and hide from the public like Showalter and Rosenberg as well if I figuratively spit in the face of MV's voters as they did.

They KNOW they have become pariahs in this town. I would not be surprised to see them move. I mean, how can they look anyone in this town in the eye again, with the exception of VTA executives.
They disgust me. I'm in for the recall and also portion of the moving van for either of them. When they hear the "Hsssss" in the store or on the street they'll know why.

I will not serve them if they walk into my store, that's a promise, and I'll call the Voice to tell them when it happens.

Are there active recall petitions for those who voted in favor of this travesty?

Is there any ongoing effort to get this reversed?

At a minimum, Mountain View should require special benefits (such as free VTA passes for ALL Mountain View residents for as long as the lanes are close) before endorsing or supporting the closure of these lanes.
