Domestic violence incident leads to 2 arrests

Police made two arrests following an alleged domestic violence incident where a husband and wife both claimed to officers that they had been attacked.

It is sad that both of them were not convicted of a harsher sentence. Police have a hard enough time with domestic issues. I have personally experience it where the police did not bother following up with things because of guilt.

Neither of the 2 parties have been "convicted" nor "sentenced" yet, just arrested and booked into jail, based on how this article reads. It's up to the DA's office now in regard to the charges and court proceedings.

It sounds like this couple needs some kind of help to prevent future incidents of violence between them and hopefully they will get the help they need.
