School's out in June for innovative Theuerkauf principal

Long-time Theuerkauf Elementary School Principal Connie Sawdey announced she will be retiring at the end of the school year, and she's leaving big shoes to fill. Regarded as tech-savvy and innovative by parents and district administrators, Sawdey has spent the last 11 years as principal starting up new programs Theuerkauf.

The student referred to in the article is not from Theuerkauf but from the Cuyamaca Model Education Center in Cajon Valley where I taught for ten years.
