I hope we in local education in Mountain View - can really start sending our own ambassadors - (like Graham math teacher Mr. Mulkey) on deep level negotiations with Salman & friends. Salman lives with his young family in Cuesta Park/Bubb area. He is part of the neighborhood. What Choice will his family make for education?
There is a YouTube interview with Salman (one of many) where he talks about leaving hedge fund management - to set up a NON_PROFIT. NO profit or IPO shares or buyout $$ for this guy. Why? - in 25 -50 -100 years he wants the organization to be focused on disruptive educational innovation, not shareholder return. What a great public-minded-thinker a capitalist/democratic system can produce!

- Mr. Nelson has 3 degrees of separation from neighbor Mr. Kahn -
- he had 1 degree of separation (Eli Nelson) from teacher Mulkey -
