Two small quakes strike Santa Clara County

Two small earthquakes have struck in Santa Clara County this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

"The first quake was reported at 8:47 a.m. and was centered 9 miles north of Morgan Hill and 15 miles east-southeast of San Jose, USGS officials said."

According to the USGS website the Morgan Hill one was 2.6.

Now is a good time to ensure you have a few days supply of fresh water, food and a camp-stove stashed away. It's been 25yrs since the Loma Prieta quake....we're due.
