Google unveils new HQ plans with startling design

Google has unveiled plans for an office campus that will undoubtedly be called extraordinary.

If Google really wants to help the environment and make MV a better community, they should be focusing on how to enable remote workers rather than building huge amounts of new office space.

That would reduce greenhouse emissions and keep traffic from getting worse. It also means demand for housing would stay where it is. That is good for owners because demand is already super-high, but it's also reasonable for renters since at least demand would not get even higher (which it will if Google and these other tech firms build lots of new office space).
