Logo Design Contest Announced for the 2015 Mountain View Art & Wine Festival

Original post made by Tim Beeman, Old Mountain View, on Mar 2, 2015

Calling all graphic designers!

The Chamber of Commerce Mountain View announced they are holding a contest to select the official logo for the 2015 Art & Wine Festival.

We’re looking for a strong, bold, clean design that captures the festive, vibrant, lively, diverse nature of the festival,” said Oscar Garcia, Chamber President/CEO. “The design is critical – it’s a big part of establishing the festival’s identity, tone and feel,” he said.

Designers are asked to provide the following:

Submit 1 - 3 logo concepts on or before Friday, March 20, 2015 by 4:00PM.

The design should include ALL of the following words:

Chamber of Commerce Mountain View
Art & Wine Festival
44th
September 12 & 13, 2015
The Tagline: A Cultural Community Celebration

The logo will adorn t-shirts, wine and beer glasses and be the centerpiece of posters and advertising for the 2015 event, considered one of America’s top art festivals.

A two-color design is preferable although 3-color will also be considered.

The logo should be versatile enough to run in black and white and 1-color applications and in various sizes and formats – screenprinted on t-shirts, etched or hot-stamped on glassware, printed, and digital.

The 2015 Mountain View Art & Wine Festival will take place September 12-13 from 10 am to 6 pm on Castro Street.
