Don't park under big old trees.

Don't worry about parking under big old trees unless you don't have insurance.
Worry more about even being on the roads where you are far more likely to be involved in a collision with another vehicle.

OK. So assuming you have insurance, it would OK to torch your car? You must have that insurance that delivers a rental car within 5 minutes with no forms to fill out, so you can get about your day with no delays. Probably also the insurance that automatically dispatches a tow truck to remove your car, and another to return it, if repairable.--or delivers a new car without you having to put any effort into it either.
It's also a good idea not to ever lock any doors if you have insurance, and bbq in your living room if you have insurance. Because hey, if your place burns down, insurance will replace everything you own and get you a new fully furnished place to live before sunset.
