What is Santa Clara County Fire Associates? Sounds like the fire equivalent of a security patrol company.

It's a local volunteer fire support group.

This fire was in my townhouse complex.
SCC Fire Associates arrived and quickly assembled a station to provide bottled water, gatorade and snacks for emergency personnel, extra generators and lights, cots for firefighters to sit and/or swap out gear, jugs of water to rinse off equipment etc. They also collected/recycled all of the garbage generated at the scene. It was pretty impressive.
