Please Join Us for Waldorf Presents: A Renaissance in Education

Original post made by Waldorf School of the Peninsula, Monta Loma, on Jan 14, 2015

A dynamic blend of musical and dramatic performances with artistic and academic displays, this multi-faceted event will showcase the rich interdisciplinary facets of Waldorf middle and high school curriculum. Classroom exhibits will feature main lesson books (student-created, hand-bound texts) on subjects ranging from The Renaissance and Revolutions to Organic Chemistry and Projective Geometry. Art works on display include stone sculptures, clay portraits, woodworking, fabric designs, veil paintings, notan, baskets and more. Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy student performances of orchestra, Eurythmy (a form of movement unique to Waldorf education), Shakespearean monologues, and an array of offerings in choral and instrumental music.

Light refreshments will be served.
