Was the idea to mimic real life or to mimic a reality TV show?

Is this really a news item? While I get the cuteness factor it seem like there must be more going on in Mountain View than this.

Hey - it was "news to me" and I'm on the school board. Reporter Kevin and Editor Andrea try to balance their coverage of most things to positive developments/hard goings. I'm not going to effusively go on about "Common Core" and "project based learning" and such - this is just good, solid teaching using a variety of methods to connect to students. And .. connect students more to the real world (do you have your 30 second VC speech ready?) Video? Wow. Actually using simple and prevalent technology to help students critique their presentations 'from the viewpoint of the audience". Think that has been in use for most of this century, it's not TV showmanship!

happy New Years MV Voice staff!
