What a great example of "every vote counts" and so everyone should vote in every election. I do that and have done my entire life.

It sickens me when turn out is low or when I encounter evidence of right wing efforts to discourage/prevent voters from using their enfranchisement. I wish we had criminal charges set up for that sort of bullying.

@Maher
I can assure you that those 'right wingers' consider the right to have their votes counted fairly are just as fervent about voting and enfranchisement. Making sure that those voting actually are eligible, and doing so only once, is part of that enfranchisement of all.

No, I am not a 'right winger' or a 'left winger'. I just dislike this sort of drivel perpetuated on boards like this.

Of course Maher has no evidence to support his silly assertion. And of course not every vote counts since he won by more than one vote. Greg won because he ran a better campaign, has better academic qualifications and has more experience in governance issues.

I live on easy street and am happy that Greg won. Hope to see some schools reopen in our neighborhood soon so that we do not have to walk/drive 2+ miles for elementary school.
