Raises for city's manager, clerk and attorney

City Council members unanimously approved raises on Tuesday for the three folks the council appoints to run the city's daily operations, City Manager Dan Rich, City Clerk Lorrie Brewer and City Attorney Jannie Quinn.

"We pushed them pretty hard"? Surely, Mayor Clark isn't deluded enough to think that the city council actually dictates to them!

How many of us get "Pushed pretty hard by our job and don't get a raise?" Wow, I want to work with them and I promise, they can push all they want…. As long as I'm guaranteed a raise if they do.

Let's see:
Dan Rich, the City Manager makes > $244,000 a year in base pay.
City Attorney Quinn makes > $220,000 in base pay.
City Clerk makes > $129,000 in base pay.

Pay Raise, more like a reduction is needed. And an increase in Pension fund contribution.
