Pay for the shuttles by taxing the property owners who have inadequate parking. There will be far fewer requests for building exemptions if there is a monthly fee based on how many parking places the building owners are missing.

Why are Palo Alto and Mountain View not merging their discussions about Shuttles?

We do not have a Berlin Wall between the two Cities. They are not islands. People want to travel where they are going, not stop at the end of the earth in case they fall off.

We need to get people where they want to go. Palo Alto residents need to get to Castro Street for Kaiser. Mountain View people want to get to PAMF.
Etc. etc. etc.

Talk to each other, people.
