Survival kit for homeless
For past few years, we have been honored to help out CSA with groceries and hot soups. It is a right place to donate whatever you can. People at CSA either are volunteers or very dedicated people who care for the wellness of the community.
Of course, we are going to help out CSA to accommodate homeless with survival kits; such a splendid idea!!!
But what about for Google, Microsoft, Sun, Oracle and other multi- billion dollar corporations who just are silent, purchasing more land for their office space.
How about asking them to build a one hundred bed shelter for the homeless. How can we ignore them (Homeless)
With all respect
Thank you

Unfortunately something is broken with the website for donations. I've tried both yesterday and today. I hope I remember to try tomorrow. What a shame!

after the sunnyvale armory closed its 130 winter beds
the county was unable to find a replacem3nt! ! !
they funded beds thru 6 private services but unfortunately not all of these are in north county which the sunnyvale armory served
-- some in south san jose and some in east palo alto
-- and most re motel vouchers
-- and the services are scattered
with this scattered plan hope it is a warm winter

Hi, everyone - I just saw this thread... Amy of Shoreline West, I would be interested in hearing about what happened when you tried to donate? We have been receiving donations from others during this time, so I would really like to understand what happened. Can you ping me at ehorng@roonga.com? Thank you much!
