From the article on October 9th, "Teachers reach tentative agreement on salaries": Web Link

"The teachers union will hold a meeting on Oct. 20 where they will decide whether or not to ratify the agreement. Both Pharazyn and Goldman said they were confident it will be ratified. Until that meeting, specific details on the agreement will not released."

Since that meeting was scheduled for yesterday, perhaps we can expect to hear whether the contract was ratified, and what the specific details are, soon.

I applaud the board and district staff for holding the special budget meeting on October 9th; in my view, it is exactly the type of "sunshine" that many in our community have wanted (and expected) from our public agency for a long time. Let's make sure it's the beginning of a new trend towards openness and community inclusivity.

@Greg Coladonato - Talking about sunshine, can you shed some sunlight on the robo-calls against Measure N sponsored by Silicon Valley Taxpayers Association Inc.?
