The main difference is in "MDV" column, Medical + Dental + Vision insurance

MVLA spends $80,000+ on medical, dental, and vision benefits for its trustees (many of which appear to work full-time, be self-employed, or be eligible for Medicare, and none of which appear to be low-income or struggling financially.)
Yet the district can't round up the $100,000+ to continue the teen parent program? This program helps teen parents to finish high school and go on to lead self-supporting, successful lives.
Yet superintendents and board members are forever saying "it's all about the kids" and "every student succeeds" and (my personal favorite - not) "no child left behind."
The people who are in control of the money always keep a little bit of it for themselves. Superintendents take pay raises and cut programs. Shame on you MVLA.
