Have you ever watched a fairy tale come to life — Scarecrows dancing in the garden? The Shoemaker and Elves cleverly crafting shoes? For 20 years young children at Waldorf School of the Peninsula have experienced the wonder of these and other candlelit vignettes enacted by teachers, parents and our own fifth grade students.

During the 30-minute journey, lantern light glimmers through the trees as kindergarten and nursery children stroll along a jack-o'-lantern-lined path during the annual Magic Forest evening. Other vignettes include forest fairies dancing to enchanting music, scarecrows dancing about, and Grandfather Twilight sending everyone home for a night of sweet dreams.

We welcome nursery and kindergarten children, between the ages of three and seven, accompanied by a ticketed adult. Please invite your friends and family with young children!

Plan to come 15 minutes early to check in as traffic can be unpredictable on a Saturday. This event takes place on our Mountain View campus. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.

Limited tickets are available for $6 per child, adult tickets are free but must be reserved. Reservations and pre-purchase required. Please print and bring your receipt with you for admission.

Tickets available here: https://magicforestjourney.eventbrite.com
