North Bayshore Precise Plan Survey

Original post made by Jim Neal, Old Mountain View, on Sep 24, 2014

Since housing is the hottest issue on the agenda this year in Mountain View, I thought it would be a great idea to post a survey online to get feedback from Mountain View residents on what they want. Here is the link:

Web Link ( North Bayshore Precise Plan Survey )

I will leave the survey up as long as there is interest, or until the next Council or EPC Meeting discussing the topic. I will share the results of this survey with both prior to whichever meeting occurs first.

If you think an issue(s) should be added, please let me know. Thanks for your participation.

It's hard to write a good survey but I appreciate Jim's attempt to collect any kind of information from residents.

#5 needs to be changed, there is no option for "never heard of it" and I had to select another choice that was not my answer.

I'd be happy to see others contribute ideas for some such survey.

Sad part is Council doesn't seem interested in public opinion, people like Jac Siegal already have their mind made up and are not open to considering facts or new ideas.

But thank you Jim for asking, trying to assess public opinion!

Thanks for the feedback! I have updated the survey with the change you suggested and it will appear for anyone that takes it from this point forward. If you have any additional suggestions for this survey, or others you want to see, feel free to let me know. Thanks!
