$1 million Palo Alto Prize seeks to 'cure' aging

A newly established Silicon Valley-based prize to "hack the code of life and cure aging" was launched yesterday, Sept. 9.

Just what we need. More people living longer. Because 80, 90, or 100 years is not enough!

Yes, aging is a disease which must be cured. Did you know that "old age" is the number one killer of people, worldwide? Yet cancer and heart disease get the majority of the medical research dollars.

The oldest person who's documents can prove her age, lived till 122 and smoked all here life, Jeanne Calments. The person that took her place in the Guinness book of world records, also smoked.

The new cure for Ebola that's been in the news lately, came from a Tobacco plant.
