I am sure that most of the aftershocks will occur in the North Bay, if not all as I have not felt any temblors since the Sunday event.
This morning in the news, it was reported that the strength of the quake was a bit stronger. So the quake actually registered a 6.1 instead of a 6.0. It may not be much 'stronger' but the updated number is there. Anyone remember our 1989 quake? It ended up to be a 6.9. However some sources and news agencies still refer to the strength as a 7.1 temblor. So which is right? The 7.1 or the 6.9?
So as with this one; which is correct? The 6.0 or the 6.1. Perhaps the writers of this article can check those figures out; Sue Dremann, Elena Kadvany
