Although this uses the word "hospital" eight times, Kaiser doesn't have a hospital in Mountain View. They have a medical office building.

True, there is no Kaiser Hospital on Castro Street in MV.

It sounds like this man may have a brain disorder. The police should have taken him to the hospital where he could be stabilized and admitted. Incarcerating people with brain disorders generally makes the disorder worse.

Re repeated use of "hospital"... that's just lazy reporting and the writer should apologize for the error. And promise to do a better job from now on.

I'm very glad no one was hurt during the fracas.

Clearing up the ignorance of our readers:

Dictionary definition:

"hospital. an institution in which sick or injured persons are given medical or surgical treatment. "

I hope that helps!

Let's let Kaiser answer....

Serving California's Silicon Valley, Kaiser Permanente Mountain View Medical Office Building is dedicated to providing quality care for our members and their families, and to improve the health of our communities.

It is important that all of our members know that we do not offer "EMERGENCY" services at our Mountain View Medical Offices.

Ralph Faravelli is the name of a former member of the City Council who moved to Folsom. Is this one of his relatives?

Yes, Jeffrey is one of Ralph's sons. The Voice should do a follow-up story.
