It's a well-deserved award. But please note that the descriptive paragraph about this particular restaurant is misleading (looking as if whoever wrote and checked it hasn't spent much time around downtown MV).

Scott's Seafood MV opened not two, but eleven, years ago, under a variation of the same name ("Cantankerous Fish: A Scott's Seafood Venture"), then simplified its name two years ago, after a general remodeling. Staff, menu, and concept remained unchanged. It has been a neighborhood institution since it opened in 2003 and (though a smaller, quieter restaurant than Cascal next door, with fewer customers to vote in popularity polls), I personally have met no one who has preferred the _food_ of Cascal's "happy hour" over that at Scott's, after trying both. I've asked many people.
