Full STEAM ahead for art classes

School may be out for the summer, but some kids are back in class and taking a curious course at the Community School of Music and Arts.

I am pretty sure the STEM folks don't want that 'A'. STEM was created to address years of weak numerical focus in education. Adding in non numerical disciplines misses the whole point. They belong in their own category, for their own reasons.

I think adding the "A" to STEM will only bring more peoples awareness to STEM. It isn't meant to change the point of STEM--just enhance it in a creative method. Bravo to McSherry!
