Father Bob has been a wonderful asset to our downtown parish, to the school on Miramonte and to our local community. The way he is able to explain the Scriptures and Jesus' teaching at a level that both adults and children can understand is a true gift. His wry sense of Irish humor will be sorely missed as well as his dedicated work in our community, but we wish him well on his much-deserved retirement at age 75. It's good to see him back on his feet after recent surgeries and we wish him many happy Irish roads ahead!

Fr. Bob is a person who cares about the people he meets, whoever they are and whatever their background (and with a joke always in his pocket). A person who gives of his time to better the conditions of others. St. Joseph Parish has been so fortunate to have had experienced his example and I'm sure he will continue along this avenue wherever he goes. Along with others, I wish him all good things and may he condition to bless those he comes in contact with.
