Mayor proposes flying rainbow flag

The city's first openly gay mayor, Chris Clark, has proposed another first, flying the rainbow flag on a city hall flag pole.

Fly the GOOGLE flag at City Hall. Google runs much of the city.

I'm glad the opposition so far has just put up arguments based in snark and sarcasm.

Supporters of this symbol of gay pride scream "we demand acceptance and tolerance", which sounds great to me.
By all means, let flags from special interests fly over city hall. Just remember:, that in that same spirit of tolerance, all flags must be welcomed. Including the rebel flag and the Nazi swastika. Are we all on board the acceptance and tolerance bandwagon? And if not, what is the definition of 'hypocrisy'?
