Mountain View kidnapping spree

What would happen if there was a kidnapping spree in Mountain View and the press did not report on it? This actually happened earlier this month. Multiple women have been kidnapped. One was able to escape by crashing a car on Hwy 101 with the perp inside. The police are still looking for additional kidnap victims. MVPD press release and mug shots: Web Link
