And this trend to more employees in smaller space is exactly why Council needs to act now and change plans and zoning to FREEZE development of all new office space.
Even if no new office space is added, the number of people coming to MV to work will increase as companies squeeze in more people, and this means worse traffic, higher rents, and less housing available to MV residents.
Instead, change zoning on those places to support apartments and housing. This will help make housing more affordable, will reduce rents, and provide a better traffic situation than the current plan to build more offices and bring in more commuters
