One of my favorites growing up and my daughter's too. I watched everyone of Shirley's movies. Luckily being a child star didn't affect her and she grew up and married and lead a great life...still contributing to the country she loved.

I will miss her very much as I knew she lived here locally. Her movies were and still are an inspiration to me. Always positive, even in the face of trouble.
Years ago someone told me that she lived in Hillsborough. But apparently not. She will RIP in Heaven will her curly tops...

Timeless talent and smiles. I recall how fixated my 6 yr old was when she first saw her in an old movie, and how she instantly wanted to "do that".
Glad she was a child star before that generally meant being doomed to a sad adulthood. I life well done!
