EPA reaches $3 million settlement for toxic cleanup

Nearly 30 years after circuit board manufacturer CTS Printex left Mountain View for Fremont, the company has agreed to pay $3 million for a toxic cleanup on Sierra Vista Avenue.

"Yogi said the site could be cleaned up to EPA standards within 10 years."

What kind of idiots would want to live near this toxic waste site until it is finally cleaned up?

The more interesting question is "what kind of idiot city council would allow homes to be built on top of a contaminated site?".

Remember folks, these are the same kinds of council members who are leading us down the path of mega development we now find ourselves on.
